Results of the Seaweb competition at the Unesco
Today was held at the Unesco the award ceremony for the Seaweb competition that I organized with Ferrandi cooking school. Seaweb is an organization fighting for the preservation of oceans and their resources and our collaboration is extremely precious for me. This competition is important to me because it sheds light on the young generation of chefs who act for the preservation of our marine resources. It is crucial for me to reward the commitment and talent of these young professionals, the future of our oceans and resources depends on them, their voice must be heard!
This competition rewards audacity and inventiveness, an ecological and responsible vision and, more than anything, passion! Passion for their work, for the environment, for marine resources. They want to change things and behaviours and do it thanks to their talent and determination. This year, we rewarded in the “professional” category Gabriel Mietz, Thao Lenormand and Benny Van Torre and in the “student” category Tanguy Martin, Paul-Elie Chevrier and Ange Savelli.
Congratulations and godspeed to them!
